Dr. Ahmed Al Bayati
Born and raised in war-torn Baghdad, Dr. Al Bayati’s early years were shaped by conflict. Despite the dangers, he volunteered as an interpreter for the US Army in the Iraq War earning several recognitions for his service.
Fleeing violence, Dr. Al Bayati sought refuge in the United Arab Emirates before pursuing his dream of becoming a physician in the United States. In 2009, he returned to Iraq to obtain a visa for his undergraduate studies. There, he worked tirelessly as a translator at the US 10th Combat Support Hospital, aiding patients and training medical staff.
Having completed his training in plastic surgery and serving as Chief Resident at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Al Bayati brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to his practice. His commitment to advancing patient care and achieving exceptional outcomes reflects his unwavering passion for plastic surgery.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Al Bayati remains actively engaged in research, with a focus on nerve regeneration and treatments of chronic nerve pain. His contributions have been recognized with publications in esteemed journals and presentations at national conferences.
